This project may not seem very extreme at first but once its future capabilities are truly taken into account, the only way to describe Project Tango is downright scary.

Google’s Advanced Technology and Projects division has basically created mobile devices that can see like human beings, only a lot better.

The devices can literally “see” wide-range 3D diagrams of any environment. So if all goes according to plan, that thing in your pocket that is already a computer and a telephone will also soon become a radar — almost a sixth sense.
