Google has released Zeitgeist 2012: Year In Review, a comprehensive video recap of the year of 2012, showing some of the most remarkable highlights the world saw this year.

From the Mars Curiosity rover to the incredible displays of athletic prowess shown by Olympic gold medalists Gabby Douglas and Michael Phelps, the video accurately sums up the year in a breathtaking matter in under three minutes.

The video cleverly uses Google to search all of these unbelievable happenings of 2012, from the Gaza-Israel conflict to the confirmation of the Higgs Boson particle.

Zeitgeist 2012 really shows how amazing of a year it truly was.
