The Grinch Is Canadian And Just Got Arrested For Telling Kids Santa Does’t Exist
A 24-year-old drunk was arrested during Ontario’s annual Santa Claus Parade for dashing kids dreams and beliefs about Santa.
Steve Koopman of the Kingston Police said, “It was pretty despicable that someone, during this time of the year, would tell kids Santa isn’t real- which of course we would argue.”
The unidentified “Grinch” had gelled hair that was described by the police department’s official Twitter feed as “(looking) like a set of devil horns protruding from his head.”
The 24-year-old was arrested for public intoxication, disturbing the peace, and breach of probation, but was granted bail the next day so long as he promised to keep the Christmas Spirit.
