A man sent a movie-going crowd in Florida into a panicked frenzy Wednesday night, as he arrived at a movie theater dressed as The Joker from Batman, reminding people of the tragic Aurora, Colorado shootings.

21-year-old Christoper Sides showed up at the Premiere Movie Theater in Melbourne, Florida, with his hair dyed bright pink and black and white clown make-up painted on his face.

This comes less than two months after James Holmes evoked the Batman villain when he allegedly shot dead 12 people in a Colorado movie theater on July 20.

Theater management called police because of his startling appearance, but no weapons were found on his body.

He was, however, arrested on a warrant for failing to show in court for a drugs charge.

Sides appeared to love the attention he was receiving as he was getting arrested.
