A 14-month old from Oregon used her father’s smartphone to purchase a junked, 51-year-old, British sports car.

KOIN-TV reports that Sorella Stoute somehow managed to access the eBay app on father Paul Stoute’s device. From there, she only had to click a “buy-it-now” option to claim ownership of a broken down, 1962 Austin Healey Sprite with two engines in the trunk.

Paul and his wife decided to keep the car, mostly because it was located just a few miles away. But the family’s home doesn’t have a garage, so the car is currently sitting outside her parents’ condo.

According to Yahoo! Autos, Paul has started a crowdsourced fundraiser to restore the machine since there’s no way he has the skills or the money to bring this thing back to life by himself.

The Never-Ending Goodbye: Was Jeter’s Farewell Too Drawn Out?

McDonald’s is notorious for (among many things) the questionable quality of its food, so much so that the fast-food chain recently put itself under the microscope in a new campaign. Apparently, though, how people feel about McDonald’s has nothing to do with how the food actually tastes. The guys behind YouTube channel lifehunterstv, Sacha and […]

I wouldn’t consider myself a control freak, but I do like to have things planned and organized — ahead of time. In my opinion, it’s the only way to live your life — if you’re hoping to design a life you actually want to live. Unfortunately, while just about everything can be planned, not everything […]
