A tragic helicopter crash on Sunday morning near Los Angeles has left three people dead, leaving a somber mood on the set of a military-themed reality show for the Discovery Channel.

According to Los Angeles County Fire dispatcher Robert Diaz, the crash occurred at 3:40 a.m. on Sunday morning at the Polsa Rosa Ranch near Acton in Los Angeles County, California.

All three people on board — the pilot and two passengers — died, Diaz said.

According to Federal Aviation Administer spokesman Allen Kenitzer, the Bell 206 Jet Ranger helicopter hit the ground “under unknown circumstances,” adding that the investigation is ongoing.

“A production company was shooting a show for Discovery Channel when this tragic accident occurred,” Discovery said in a statement.

“We are all cooperating fully with authorities. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families.”

But according to […]

Preschool Girl Finds A Xanax Pill Inside One Of Her Easter Eggs

Roseville, Michigan, sounds like the most bizarre place in the world as a preschooler brought home a plastic egg that had Alprazolam (the generic brand for Xanax) inside. Maybe it was a gift for the parent since this occurred during an after school activity at Huron Park Elementary where parents and children came together to […]

The Dress To End All Dresses Turns See-Through When It Knows You’re Turned On

Talk about revealing too much too fast. Thanks to the INTIMACY 2.0 project working out of China and the Netherlands, tech gurus (who might only be a little out of touch with what women need when they’re actually turned on) have designed a haute couture gown that becomes see-through when the wearer is aroused. Using […]

Introducing The Greatest Feline Villain Of All Time: Bane Cat

Normally I’d hesitate to post video consisting almost entirely of Bane jokes because it isn’t 2012, but timeliness is irrelevant when something makes me laugh. Luckily, this video from Robs Rants did exactly that. This appealed to me so much is because if I had to compare every cat in the world to a fictional […]

The Unspoken Horrors: An Inside Look At The Terrifying World Of Sorority Pledging

After watching an episode of “Colbert Report” from early March, I found myself incredibly interested in the guest he featured on the show. Caitlin Flanagan, a writer for the Atlantic, recently published the article, “The Dark Power of Fraternities,” in which she investigates the power fraternities have over their administrations and why they can get away […]
