Someone Left $500 Million In Checks At A Jerusalem Holy Site
The overseer of Jerusalem’s Western Wall, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch, says that he has found an envelope on Wednesday that contained 507 checks all in the amount of $1 million each.
They were not addressed to anyone; it’s doubted they can be cashed.
This is not the first time that such checks have been found, but they always bounce.
The rabbi believes that the writer of the checks “wanted to give all they could give to the Creator of the universe.”
