The Incident At Lone Star College Wasn’t Your Typical School Shooting
World

Immediately after the shooting yesterday at Lone Star College occurred, most people thought “I can’t believe there’s been another school shooting.” This one, however, was slightly different than the ones in the news lately.

One of the three men wounded in the shooting was actually arrested and charged with assault after the incident.

Carlton Berry, 22, was arrested and charged him with aggravated assault, and authorities say he is one of the shooters in the incident.Berry remains in the hospital and is being treated for a gunshot wound, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

It is being speculated that Berry and an unidentified man got into a fight at Lone Star College, and when things escalated, the two exchanged gunfire.

Shots were fired on campus of the Lone Star College shortly before 1 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, causing the school to evacuate and be put on lockdown.

The other man in the fight has yet to be identified, but he was also hospitalized. While not yet charged, Alan Bernstein of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office says the man could still face charges.

A third man was shot and wounded in the incident, identified as a maintenance man in his 50s. He has also been hospitalized and is expected to make a full recovery.
