Man Is Crushed To Death After An SUV Falls On Top Of Him At NYC Parking Garage

Did you think you were having a bad Monday? A man has been crushed to death after an SUV fell from a lift at a parking garage in New York City today, according to authorities.

The unidentified man was at Icon Parking in the Tribeca area of lower Manhattan around 8 AM this morning when he was crushed to death.

Emergency crews quickly responded to the incident, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the New York Fire Department.

Authorities had yet to say whether the man worked at the garage or was leaving his car at the parking spot.

Icon Parking is one of the most popular garage companies in the city, with over 200 parking locations built in its 50 years of operation.

Anyone who lives in New York City could tell you how sketchy those car lifts look, and that garages that use traditional structures are much more reliable.

This Anti-Bullying Commercial Means Well But Completely Misses The Mark

Er… this anti-bullying PSA might prove that sometimes, something that is well-intentioned can still fail to deliver. The commercial, produced on behalf of VH1 by advertising agency Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi, attempts to show how bullying is bad, and the ways in which students can cope after they’ve been victimized by the school’s biggest […]

Duke’s ‘You Don’t Say’ Campaign Looks To Eliminate Offensive Sayings From Every Day Speak (Photos)

Duke University’s “You Don’t Say?” campaign totally hits the nail on the head; it’s the 21st century, and there’s some sh*t you just shouldn’t say anymore because it’s offensive and harmful to certain communities. Through black and white images, the campaign highlights some seemingly “harmless” phrases often spoken to serve as a funny one-liner or […]

Girl Casually Stands Over And Pees On Unconscious Dude At Ultra (Photo)

I’ve never been to Ultra down in Miami, nor do I have any interest in going — especially after seeing how many dudes went this year and what goes down after the shows. There isn’t much context for what’s going on in this image, but according to Imgur, it sure seems like this young woman is […]

This Is How You Get Out Of A Speeding Ticket Like A Boss (Photo)

It’s stupid enough that people have to come to court and pay fines because a camera took a picture of them speeding, but now it seems they don’t even need the pictures if the violation is petty enough. That’s just what happened to whoever wrote this note, which brilliantly points out not only how traffic […]
