Man Stabbed Over A Heated Game Of Beer Pong
During a heated and important sporting event, tempers can rise and people can lose their cool and become violent. Sport can bring out the very best and the very worst of people.
Unfortunately, the people of Toledo, Ohio don’t have any real sports to argue and bicker over, so when things got dicey during a beer pong game, 27-year-old Earnest Tyler, Jr. viciously stabbed 21-year-old Antonio Green at Green’s home on Main Street.
This battle of athletic prowess between the two warriors came to a halt at around 5:20 AM, when the two combatants put down the Keystone Light-soaked ping pong balls and began to argue.
The confrontation became physical, when Tyler stabbed Green in the shoulder.
Tyler was booked into Lucas County jail on Saturday and was pending arraignment, while the victim was treated at Mercy St. Charles Hospital.
Officials are saying the incident is bad for the integrity of the sport. Hopefully it will be able to bounce back from this scandal.
