Married High School Science Teacher Had Sex With 17-Year-Old Student

Lindsey Michelle Trimble, a teacher at Clove East High School of Fresno, was arrested Thursday and charged with having sex and oral copulation with a minor.

Trimble, a married women, had been teaching at the high school since August of 2010, but has now resigned. The alleged victim, now 18, was 17 at the time.

There aren’t many details available as of yet, but we do know that Trimble was freed after she posted a $55,000 bail.

She is due to make her first appearance in Fresno County Superior Court on December 20th.

Parents were furious when they found out the news- mainly due to the fact that they found out about a week later.

“I didn't know it was five days after the arrest. I just barely got the phone call this morning,” said one infuriated parent. “Actually, my daughter found out last night. So we didn't even know. It's something that should've been told right away, not something they waited on.”
