Missoni’s Son Dismisses Plane Crash As ‘Least Plausible’ Scenario
Vittorio Missoni, his wife, two friends, and two crewmembers were on a plane that went missing this past Friday. Ottavio Missoni Jr., the 28-year-old son of the fashion mogul, believes it unlikely that the plane could have crashed.
“My father will come back; we are waiting for him,” he said. “I am not speaking with my head but with my heart. A plane cannot vanish in this way, on a short route, without leaving any trace.”
Vittorio Missoni and the rest of those onboard were travelling on the Venezuelan coast Friday when their plane “vanished.” Despite all search efforts, not a single sign of the plane or those on board has been found.
Ottavio has recently received an eerie text from an unknown sender saying “Call now, we are reachable,” which he believes to be from his father.
There are some speculations that the family may have been kidnapped by local drug dealers and being held for ransom.
