North Korea is in such a devastating famine, that there have been reports of cannibalism, some families even cooking and eating their own children to survive.

According to a network of “citizen journalists” within North Korea, a “hidden” famine has caused the deaths of approximately 10,000 people.

The conditions are so bad, that many are resorting to cannibalism.

According to one report, “a man who killed his own two children and tried to eat them was executed by a firing squad.”

Another account describes a man being arrested for “digging up the grave of his grandchild and eating the remains.”

Since the government controls the media in North Korea, concrete information only comes from the underground reporters who risk their lives to get the word out.

The Best Neighbor Ever Welcomes New Tenant With Amazing Letter (Photo)

I expected this story to unfold in some scathing and embittered back-and-forth between two tenants. At first glance, my instinct was mistrust and skepticism. This must mean I’ve lived in New York just long enough to be jaded. Needless to say, by the time I finished reading I was ashamed at myself for forgetting that, […]

This 8th Grader Might Just Be ‘White Chocolate’ Reincarnated (Video)

If you’re a real NBA fan, then you are bound to be missing Jason Williams, aka “White Chocolate.” During his time with the Sacramento Kings, no one else had a knack for impressing such a strong sense of flair on the game as Williams. His handle was ridiculous, his passes equally so and, since he […]

What If Superheroes’ Origins Weren’t So Tragic? (Video)

Each one of our favorite superheroes has their tragic childhood story that fueled his or her efforts into fighting for justice. Examples: Bruce Wayne’s parents were killed, Clark Kent was sent away for his own protection and Peter Parker’s uncle Ben was shot and killed. Logically, these “tragedies” could’ve gone a lot differently and our […]
