A 22-year-old fashion student who jumped off the George Washington Bridge yesterday left a note behind in her Louis Vuitton bag, listing five girls she does not want attending her funeral.
Ashley Anne Riggitano plunged from the George Washington Bridge into the Hudson River at approximately 4:40 p.m. yesterday, and she made sure to leave behind a note to put the blame on a handful of individuals for her unbearable misery.
“All my other ‘friends’ are in it for gossip,” she wrote, according to the New York Post.
The Laboratory Institute of Merchandising student allegedly had a history of depression, and had tried to commit suicide at least once before.
Medication, including Adderall and Klonopin, was found in her bag, according to sources.
Miss Riggitano had been working as an intern for jewelery and fashion designer Alex Woo, and had also started her own jewelry business called Missfits with her best friend, Victoria Van Thunen.
Miss Riggitano’s family has not yet commented on her death.
