OkCupid Launches ‘Crazy Blind Date’ App For Lonely Masses

OkCupid has just launched their “Crazy Blind Date” App that is free to download for both Apple and Android users.

The user will enter their name, sexual orientation, and age along with a photograph; then you just need to let the app know when you are free. OkCupid will check to see if anyone they believe to be a good match is available.

The photos are scrambled, but still, the date isn’t completely blind.

The most interesting thing about this app is that you only pay according to how successful the night was. Depending how well it went, you could pay anywhere from nothing to as much as $3 per date.

“If it were a perfect world, I would charge by success,” said Sam Yagan, the site’s founder. “If you could start a dating site where you just got paid for marriage or sex, that’d be pretty cool. This is the closest we can come.”
