Yep, You Can Now Pay Someone To Break Up With Your GF Or BF For You
Breaking up is nerve-racking and psychologically taxing, and it's ultimately a huge waste of time for someone trying to begin a new life.
So it only makes sense that in the age of maximum convenience, you can finally pay someone to split with your significant other.
"Sorry It's Over" was created by 37-year-old Kristy Mazins, a former nurse from Melbourne who understands just how torturous it is for the Facebook generation to express emotions.
She told Mamamia,
People don't like the confrontation. People are scared of it. It's a much needed service because it takes the fear out of breaking up.
According to Bustle, for a few dollars, Mazins will deliver a text, email, handwritten letter or even a phone call explaining why her customer feels the relationship must come to an end.
Here's an example of a text sent by the service:
Customers simply outline what they wish to convey and Mazin puts the main points into messages with some added phrases to ease the pain "if needed."
There also seem to be generic break-up texts and emails that require her to simply fill in certain blanks.
Here's one such email from "Sorry It's Over":
Mazin says her years of experience with beside manner taught her a thing or two about using gentle words in tense situations.
She said,
I'm quite good at mediating people's relationships. It's a gift. I think it's the counselling that goes with nursing.
Customers can pay a higher, unspecified fee for Mazin to send flowers, a sympathy basket or a living, breathing human being to break the bad news and probably get berated like George Clooney in "Up in the Air."
The service is currently only available in Australia at the moment, however, so Millennials will just have to continue trying to muster up the insurmountable focus and respect required for face-to-face communications.
