People Guessing Where Asian Foods And People Come From Gets Awkward (Video)

Cut Video, the team behind the popular 100 Years of Beauty videos, is back -- this time with a thought-provoking social experiment called Asian Food Versus Asian People.

In the video, five couples are presented with five typical Asian dishes, all from different countries. They’re asked to identify where each dish is from, and all the couples succeed without issue.

Then, each couple is asked to close their eyes while they’re guided to “another station,” presumably, to identify more dishes.

Instead, they’re faced with five people, all from different Asian countries. This time, they all have a lot of trouble guessing, and most feel uncomfortable doing so.

It’s an interesting social experiment, and definitely one that has never been done before -- check it out up top.
