Pregnant Model With No Baby Bump Gives Birth To 8-Pound, 7-Ounce Baby

by Emily Arata

In the days after being introduced to Sarah Stage, the model with a barely-there pregnancy bump, many worried about the health of her child and the effects of continuous fitness during pregnancy.

TMZ reports Stage finally delivered her baby – named James Hunter – Tuesday afternoon.

As it turns out, the little boy was more than just healthy. Despite Stage's apparent size, baby James clocked in at 8 pounds and 7 ounces. That's certainly on the heavier side for newborns, which weigh an average of 7.5 pounds.

Regardless, What To Expect puts healthy birth weight between 5.5 and 10 pounds.

During the pregnancy, Stage told the press she'd gained about 20 pounds by her eighth month of pregnancy.

According to the Mayo Clinic, healthy pregnancies usually result in anywhere from 25 to 35 pounds of extra weight, but the number varies from mother to mother.

Stage, who's probably privately enjoying her first days with the 22-inch-long little boy, hasn't yet posted any photos of him to her infamous Instagram page.

Surely, this child of a fit family was been born with a squat bar already in hand.
