Some lucky pirates made off with a huge stash of loot, as a Russian ship carrying 700 tons of gold ore has gone missing on its trip from Neral to Feklistov Island in the Sea of Okhotsk.

The company that hired the vessel, Polymetal, refused to estimate the value of the missing gold ore.

The ship, along with its nine-man crew, went missing shortly after a distress call put out on Sunday.

There are reports that the ship’s captain has sold the gold on board, but these are unconfirmed.

In the wise words of Kanye: That which doesn’t kill you will only make you stronger. OK, so maybe Kanye didn’t make that one up. But that’s beside the point. Life is full of proverbial bumps in the road — some small, some life-altering. But humans are resilient. It’s true that what doesn’t kill us […]

Why This Generation Needs To Cease Valuing Materialism Over Individuality

Why are we taught that having the most “things” will yield the most happiness? Obviously, this isn’t true, as many fortunate people are severely unhappy. But, why is this? Why do we place such a high value on items? I mean, ultimately, they’re just objects, after all. Many American families are in competition with each another for […]
