Possible Sandy Hook Elementary Shooter Identified As 24-Year-Old Ryan Lanza (Updated: This Is The Shooter’s Brother)
World

CNN has reported that Ryan Lanza is the gunman who opened fire on Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

The 24-year-old’s Facebook profile shows Ryan Lanza donning an all black outfit, looking away from the camera with a pair of dark sunglasses.

According to his Facebook, he is from Newtown, Connecticut but was residing in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Since CNN announced his identity, Ryan Lanza’s photo has been shared over 1,300 times on Facebook.

Lanza allegedly killed at least 27 people, including 18 children, and may or may not have been acting alone.

We will have more details as they are available.

Update: Apparently CNN has made a mistake in identifying the shooter. Officials are now saying that the brother of the man pictured above is the shooter. Ryan Lanza (pictured above) is currently in custody and Adam Lanza is confirmed to be the shooter who is dead.

We also wrote possible in the title. Which means we did not 100% confirm that Ryan was the shooter. We were trusting CNN in being a trusted news source.
