This is the most important video to hit the internet this year, and if it doesn’t inspire you to learn to code, you’re truly lost in this world.

“Great coders are today’s rock stars,” Will.i.am said in the video entitled What Most Schools Don’t Teach.

The film asks all sorts of successful tech personalities to speak upon how and when they fell in love with coding, including Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

Some surprises in the video include NBA superstar Chris Bosh, who admitted to being in the “Wiz Kids” afterschool program when he was younger, something some of his peers made fun of him for.

Bosh didn’t care, as he thought coding was cool, and says it has helped him a lot.

“I think if someone had told me that software is really about humanity, that it’s really about helping people by using computer technology, it would’ve changed my outlook a lot earlier,” said Vanessa Hurst, founder of Developers for Good.

Check out the video below. Trust us, you will not regret it!

Kirsten Dunst Stars In Short Film That Perfectly Describes The Selfie Culture

Here’s a cute little short film starring Kirsten Dunst. It’s called “Aspirational” and it was directed by Matthew Frost. It’s about our selfie-obsessed culture and our lack of human interaction in the digital age. Though it’s short and not super serious, the film does work as a fairly searing indictment of the way we handle […]
