Just when you thought the Japanese have come up with every ridiculous invention possible, a Japanese firm has come up with a smart toilet that keeps track of your preferred settings, all controlled via a smartphone app.
The latest model from Japanese firm Lixil, introduced by an over-the-top video featuring advanced graphics displaying its features, shows how fare we’ve come from the outhouse.
The smart toilet, which goes on sale in the Spring, can be completely controlled by a smartphone app, which can also track user’s bowel movements to track their health.
That’s right, an app that keeps track of when and how often you shit.
Using the My Satis Android app, users can fully control the toilet, from flushing to lifting the toilet seat, and even playing music through the toilet’s speakers.
Call me old fashioned, but I think I’m going to hold off on updating my toilet.
