Study: French People Don’t Like Foreigners, Islam Or Themselves
A new survey shows that French people, who are known for being rigid and unwelcoming, do not like foreigners, Islam, or even themselves.
The survey was conducted by polling institute Ipsos and the Jean-Jaures Foundation, and was published by Le Monde.
The study revealed that the notoriously stingy French people are an overall pessimistic and xenophobic group.
The shocking or not-so-shocking findings reveal that 70 percent of French people think “there are too many foreigners living in the country,” 74 percent believe “Islam is not compatible with French society,” and 46 percent believe unemployment levels can only be cut by reducing immigration.
The pessimism is also running rampant, as approximately 51 percent believe “the decline of France is inevitable,” and 57 percent believe anti-white racism is “quite common” in France.
Are the French paranoid and and pessimistic, or just rational and reasonable?
