Move over Justin Bieber, America’s latest teen heartthrob is none other than Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the teenage suspected Boston Marathon bomber who is winning over the hearts of teenage girls all across the United States.

Girls claiming Dzhokhar, also known as Jahar, is too cute to be a terrorist is actually a real thing going on right now. From Tumblr pages to Twitters supporting Dzhokhar, the 19-year-old terrorist suspect has teen girls pouring out their support for him.

Between memes and gifs highlight Jahar, there are all sorts of peculiar messages sent by supporters of the suspected terrorist.

“god bless you man…i know theres only so much that us supporters can do  for you but damn why YOU?? why TAM?? its sad as hell…your future ripped away from you…family ripped away from you…friends…your normal life…your future..

jesus christ” read a post on freejahartsarnaev.tumblr.com/.

YouTube videos showing how normal his life was and how American he was can be found easily online, using his Twitter and candid photos of him as evidence proving his innocence.

I hate to break it to these young girls with their fantasies, but a tweet can’t prove his innocence, and if the reports of him shooting at police and throwing pressure cooker bombs in order to get away on that fateful Thursday evening that saw his older brother, Tamerlan, killed are true, then there isn’t much hope for young Dzhokhar in our judicial system.

One blog claims to support Dzhokhar because “he’s attractive,” but not his older brother because “he’s gross.” Yup, this is real life.

There may not be hope for this upcoming generation after all.

If you want to see more of Dzhokhar, check out the home video of him with his niece below.

Last Wednesday, pro-democracy protestors in Hong Kong took to the streets to voice their discontent over the Chinese government’s efforts to erode the region’s freedoms. The protests began peacefully, but by Friday, the police began a brutal crackdown, attacking people with tear gas, rubber bullets and pepper spray. The Chinese government is often quite totalitarian, […]

People In London Actually Signed Away First-Born Children For Free WiFi

A British experiment has exposed how uninformed some people are when they agree to the terms and conditions of online services. The Guardian reports that a team of security researchers set up a mobile WiFi hotspot in two busy London districts last June in an experiment organized by Finnish security firm F-Secure and European law […]

Eminem is one talented man, and now it’s official. He just set a new Guinness World Record for having the most words in a hit song. The song is called “Rap God,” and it packs 1,560 words into six minutes. Now, the song might be a little megalomaniacal, but the title is not totally unearned. […]

What We Should Take Away From The Recent Tragedy At Rutgers

As a Rutgers alumna, I was deeply saddened to learn about the death of Caitlyn Kovacs. While Caitlyn is too young for me to have ever attended university with her, I’m sure we shared many of the same experiences at Rutgers. I imagine Caitlyn to have been, like most sophomores, excited for her second year. […]

So Much Yes: Drinking Beer Might Actually Be Good For Your Brain

A natural compound found in red wine, chocolate and, most importantly, beer, has been found to strengthen the brain. CNN reports that a team of researchers tested the flavonoid xanthohumol on both young and old mice by seeing how they performed in a maze. The first group was able to better navigate the maze’s obstacles […]
