17-Year-Old Captures Young Love By Asking Teens To Kiss In Short Film

by Emily Arata

Trying to capture the elusive nature of teenage love isn't easy, but 17-year-old filmmaker Cas Stonehouse might have done it.

In the short film, "Kiss Me," set to a soundtrack of her own voice, the Toronto-based videographer asks eight couples to kiss on camera.

The clip is tender and heartbreaking in equal parts because teenage romance is so intense, but often short-lived.

Stonehouse sings,

That smile, that you have before we kiss I will add it to my list Of the things of you I love

And suddenly, you can't help but feel like a teenager in love again.
