One of the many dangers of bullying is how it can follow us well into adulthood if we aren’t taught how wrong it is as kids.

The less effort we put towards not making fun of people we don’t understand, the more likely petty high school insults are to evolve into brutal racial slurs.

UK LGBT charity Stonewall highlights this idea in this brilliant and startlingly realistic video that explains exactly why so many of us still don’t see the problem with taking our anger out on our peers, even as adults.
