These Touching Letters Kids Wrote To Obama After The Sandy Hook Shooting Will Convince You To Support Gun Control
Before going ahead to unveil proposals aimed at banning high-capacity clips and assault rifles, as well as strengthening gun control, president Barack Obama invited four children to help him make his case.
“I started getting a lot of letters from kids. These are some pretty smart letters from some pretty smart young people,” said the president.
With the four children on stage, Obama went on to read snippets of their letters.
8-year-old Grant Fritz of Maryland, 11-year-old Julia Stokes of Washington D.C., 10-year-old Taejah Goode of Georgia, and 8-year-old Hinna Zeejah all stood alongside the president as their letters were being read.
