Twitter Is Now Allowing Us To Impact Television Shows In Real Time

Ever read those Goosebumps books where you got to choose where the story would lead you and where it would end? Well, it looks like we may be doing the same for TV shows in the near future.

CBS will now be allowing viewers to choose between three different possible endings to a live broadcast of one of its most popular TV shows- Hawaii Five-O.

CBS will allow viewers to pick the bad guy via Twitter. All you have to do to choose is to tweet one of the hashtags while show is airing: #theBoss, #theTA, #theStudent.

Whoever gets the most votes wins and that ending will be broadcast. There will be two different voting sessions for the East and West coast, so chances are that there will be two different endings aired.

All three endings will be made available for viewing on CBS.com. We may very well be seeing much more of this in the near future.
