One of the scariest things in modern times is a rogue shooter running around a college campus. I guess the University of Miami might think a black man with black and white sneakers and a white tee is just as scary.

The school dubbed “the U” sent out alerts to all their students that identified a black man, but didn’t state any crime or emergency.

It’s still not sure if this was done purposely, but clearly crosses a few lines. This student saw some issues this alert, “The University of Miami sent us out an emergency text message that a black man was on campus.

Then they called me and told me to lock my doors, stay away from windows and not to open the door for anyone. No crime was stated and it sounded pretty hilariously racist. Turns out it was an armed shooter. Was still pretty funny.”

Not sure if I agree with the alert being funny, but its a huge mistake to not include the most important information that there was a shooter on campus. I hope the University of Miami sent out a correction to this sketchy alert.
