San Francisco became Gotham City last Friday, as per the wish of a young boy named Miles Scott, a 5-year-old leukemia patient currently in remission.

Miles’ dream was to be Batman for one day, and the miracle workers at the Make-a-Wish Foundation teamed up with the city of San Francisco to bring the boy’s fantasy to life.

Watch here as a massive crowd of spectators cheers on Batkid, Miles’ alter ego, as he rides in the Batmobile, fights crime and is awarded a key to the city.
