San Francisco became Gotham City last Friday, as per the wish of a young boy named Miles Scott, a 5-year-old leukemia patient currently in remission.

Miles’ dream was to be Batman for one day, and the miracle workers at the Make-a-Wish Foundation teamed up with the city of San Francisco to bring the boy’s fantasy to life.

Watch here as a massive crowd of spectators cheers on Batkid, Miles’ alter ego, as he rides in the Batmobile, fights crime and is awarded a key to the city.

Slavery Still Exists In The US, You Just Can’t See It

Prior to the Civil War and the ratification of the Thirteenth Amendment, slavery was a very common and accepted aspect of American society. Indeed, slavery was practiced unabashedly for hundreds of years. During this period, it would not have been uncommon to encounter slaves working openly on farms and plantations in many parts of the […]

Fox News Host Says Young Women Should Stay On Tinder Instead Of Voting

While most of the political world encourages Millennials to vote, Fox News would like to “excuse” young women from voting. During Tuesday’s episode of “The Five,” analyst Kimberly Guilfoyle said younger women shouldn’t have to vote because they’re too busy spending time on Tinder and being “healthy and hot.” In case you were wondering, that’s […]

Face-ism: How Much You Trust Someone Is Based Simply On Looks

Race and personality aren’t the only factors affecting your impression of someone. The face is important, too. It’s Not The End: 40 Reasons Your Life Only Begins After Graduation

“Your college years are the best years of your life.” Ah, how often the Millennial hears this one. It’s like a broken record, constantly on repeat, always reminding us that our lives peak in college. After college, we’re just jumping on a toboggan to head downhill into middle-aged misery. It’s true, to an extent; college is […]

The Japanese Whipped Cream Prank Never Stops Being Funny (Video)

I’ve never had a chance to go to Japan, so my only exposure to the country’s culture has been through secondhand experiences and random clips from television shows and commercials. That second category has probably had the most influence on me and, as a result, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s one of the […]

Here’s What’s Happening With The British Vote To Recognize Palestine

The British government released a White Paper 75 years ago that promoted the creation of a Jewish national home in Palestine. Back then, it was British mandatory Palestine. Less than a decade later, it was no longer Palestine at all. In 1948, this land became the infant state of Israel, which would grow to reach big […]

Jimmy Fallon And Robert Downey, Jr.’s Staring Contest Is Too Awkward (Video)

Jimmy Fallon’s “Intense Staredown” bit is one of my favorites from his show. And I can’t think of anyone I’d rather see partake in the sketch more than Robert Downey, Jr. RDJ was on “The Tonight Show” last night to promote his new film, “The Judge,” and while there, he donned a ridiculous wig and […]
