Worst Wedding Guest Steals The Show And Proposes To His Girlfriend (Photo)

by Gillian Fuller

A photo posted to Reddit earlier this week shows a man proposing to his girlfriend at another couple's wedding, directly in front of the newlyweds' table.

Can you say rude?

The photo, which has accumulated more than 1.5 million views and over 1,500 comments in just a few days, has become the subject of mass criticism.

Commenters' reactions range from disbelief to amusement to horror, and rightfully so: Proposing at someone else's wedding is perhaps the most offensive breach of wedding etiquette possible.

One commenter said,

How to lose friends 101.

Another commented on the bride's expression, a pained smile. The person joked,

Inside, she is brimming with rage.

The user who uploaded the photo since deleted the account, and the couple featured in the photo has not been identified.

It also remains unknown if the newlyweds knew about the proposal beforehand and gave it their blessing.

Regardless of what the back story may or may not be, I can't help but feel this is the biggest dick move ever.

Here's hoping the newlyweds enjoyed their wedding anyway.
