Woman Shoots And Kills Husband At Their Home, Thought He Was A Burglar

This is the sort of thing that will keep you from trying to surprise your spouse: A woman shot and killed her husband in their home after mistaking him for a home intruder, according to police.

The 53-year-old woman, whose name has not been released, is believed to have shot her 57-year-old husband shortly after 11 AM at their home in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans.

Charges have not been filed yet, but the possibility of foul play is still being investigated.

The deceased husband’s name has also not been released.
