An eBay seller from Oxfordshire selling a yellow ASOS skater dress attracts bids of over $240,000 after she accidentally posts nude photo of herself along with the product description.

The initial asking price was only $24, but the bidding price sky-rocketed after people noticed that the seller’s bottomless reflection was to be seen in the mirror right next to the yellow dress.

The image and auction quickly went viral with the Twitter hashtag #ebayyellowskaterdress and starting trending all over the UK.

One user even commented that this may “possibly (be) the best use of viral advertising to date.”

The seller updated the auction page with a nudeless photo. She also added the tagline: “#ebayyellowskaterdress as seen by thousands. never worn naked.”
