'You're In My House': President Obama Shuts Down White House Heckler (Video)

by Sean Levinson

President Obama shut down a heckler who interrupted his speech at an event celebrating LGBT Pride Month.

According to The New York Times, Obama had only begun speaking at the White House on Wednesday when transgender activist Jennicet Gutiérrez yelled from the back of the room,

President Obama, release all LGBTQ immigrants from detention and stop all deportations!

But, the president refused to get flustered and instead, he reminded Gutiérrez she was on his turf.

Before she was removed by security, he told her,

Shame on you. You shouldn't be doing this.

A statement from activist groups GetEqual and Familia QTLM claims approximately 75 transgender immigrants experienced abuse by US Immigration & Customs Enforcement.

Gutierrez also reportedly declared she is in the country illegally.
