Brave Man Takes Candid Photo Of His Wife Giving Birth, Shows The World

by Kendall Wood

It's been nine months since your wife told you she was pregnant.

Since then, you've been attending regular Lamaze classes, reading up on how to be a good dad and preparing to invest everything you have in the tiny human who will soon reside in your home.

How pumped are you, man? This kid could look exactly like you, sound just like you, have the same mannerisms as you and even end up with the same sh*tty fashion sense as you.

But if you're more nervous than ready to welcome a kid to the world, not to worry. New dad Gil Solano has enough excitement for all future fathers-to-be, which is more than apparent in the photo he posted to Reddit.

As the caption of the photo alludes, Solano was just appealing to wife Sarah's wishes when he snapped the candid shot of the happy moment as she pushed out their newborn daughter in the background.

Many Reddit users responded to Solano's post with concern about his well-being after Sarah finds out he's been a bad boy:

In response to their sarcastic comments, Solano wrote a message to ease their worried minds:

I showed it to her in between pushes and she cracked up. Now I'm reading her all of you guys comments while she feeds our healthy 7lb 6 oz girl.

The new dad then took to Facebook to announce the birth of his daughter, in which he says she's "as pretty as her mother":

He also posted a photo of beautiful baby Eva looking healthy and happy to be welcomed into the world:

Solano might not have embarrassed his wife with his delivery-room stunt, but he's sure to have his fair share of opportunities to embarrass his daughter in the years to come.
