Dad Threatened His Teen Daughter's Boyfriend In The Best Way Possible (Photo)

This dad just out-dadded every dad to ever dad.

Father-of-four Benjamin Schock had once told his 15-year-old daughter's boyfriend that if the boy ever did anything to his baby girl, Schock would do the same to him.

So earlier this month, when Schock's daughter Ricarra and her boyfriend were posing for photos before their school's Homecoming dance, the protective pops decided it was high time to keep his promise.

When the teen wasn't looking, Schock snuck up behind him and wrapped his arms around the kid's waist, copying the way the boy had embraced Schock's daughter while posing for a photo earlier.

Ricarra's mother, photographer Sharee Schock, snapped the photo and posted it to her Facebook page. Not long after, the hilarious shot made its way to Imgur, where it racked up more than three million views in a matter of days.

Sharee recalled,

My husband had mentioned previously in humor that he would do to the boyfriend whatever was done to our daughter. So he jumped in the picture and they posted for the picture.

Though most teen girls would be mortified if their fathers threatened their boyfriends (even jokingly, as is obviously the case here), Ricarra's mom explains the photo bomb was all in good fun. Her husband is currently fighting brain cancer, and the playful prank was his way of lightening the mood and giving his family a laugh during the tough times.

She explained,

My husband is a big-hearted teddy bear, so it was his way of being silly with a pinch of 'I'm watching you, buddy…' We hope that above anything else this picture shows the love and protective nature of a dad with his little girl, but in a playful and not-so-intimidating manner.
