Girl's Gifts For Friends Whose Parents Died Will Make You Hug A Loved One

Twitter

I can't even fathom the complete devastation someone endures after losing a parent.

My heart drops to my stomach just thinking about it.

However, I do know that when people close to you go through such a tragedy, you need to be there for them -- especially if they're your friends.

A girl named Heidi has two close friends who lost their parents for different reasons throughout the past few years, and her recent gifts to them will make you sob.

Based off comments on her Twitter account, one of her friends lost her mom to cancer in 2015 and the other lost her dad to a stroke in 2016.

Apparently, both of her friends' birthdays are in January and February -- but since Heidi goes to school up north, she honored both of their special days with a belated celebration last week.

For their birthdays, Heidi got them both teddy bears and put their late parents' voice recordings inside of them.

If you aren't crying yet, just wait for the video of them accepting the presents.

Heidi filmed their reactions upon opening the gifts and squeezing the teddy bears, and they both become overwhelmed with emotion.

Once Heidi's friends realized the stuffed animals have their mom and dad's voices inside, their laughter turns to tears as they reminisce about their late parents.

Heidi posted the video of their highly-emotional celebration on Twitter and captioned the video,

Both of my best friends lost their parents over the past two years so I got them a bear with their parents' voice recordings on it.

In just a week, the video has already gotten over 61,000 likes and 31,000 retweets -- and Twitter is getting very, very emotional.

People are praising her friendship.
