It's official. No burger joint in America can compete with the pure deliciousness that is In-N-Out.

According to a new national survey conducted by Nielsen subsidiary The Harris Poll, In-N-Out is the clear winner of American, burger-loving hearts. The poll, which sought to find the best brand in multiple categories, named the SoCal joint the best of the best in the "burger restaurant" category.

The poll's website describes the methodology of the survey, explaining,

The 2016 Harris Poll EquiTrend Study is based on a sample of 97,120 U.S. consumers ages 15 and over surveyed online, in English, between December 22, 2015 and February 1, 2016. The survey took an average of 30 minutes to complete. The total number of brands rated was 3,837 [and each] respondent was asked to rate a total of 40 randomly selected brands.

Five Guys came in second place (their fries are actually thebomb.com), while third, fourth, and fifth places went to Culver's, Wendy's and Sonic America's Drive-In, respectively.

This is especially good news considering the new (and only) Shake Shack in Los Angeles still has a line wrapping around the corner. Peace out, haters.
