Mermaid Eyeshadow Exists, And It Looks So Magical It's Already Selling Out

A lot of people would falsely assume the saddest thing about being a mermaid would be the fact their bottom half is a fin and they'll never be up where the people are to see them dancing and walking around on those… what do you call them again? Oh, feet!

But really, the saddest thing about being a mermaid is the saltwater makes your eyeshadow impossible to apply.

Luckily, we aren't mermaids. This means we can capture that natural mermaid look without rocking a fish tail.

Despite a song from a popular Disney movie claiming it's “better down where it's wetter,” which sounds very dirty when taken out of context, the KG's Beauty Mermaid Palette proves being a real human is pretty awesome.

Yes, we all want to be mythical beings who lure seamen to their watery graves — who doesn't?! While our siren song is usually reserved for karaoke night, it's never caused a shipwreck.

But maybe rocking some of these gorgeous glitters will make a person so distracted they smack into a wall.

KG Beauty's Katelin Giglia told Hello Giggles,

My hope for this palette is that when you look at the packaging and play with the colors, you can escape reality for a little bit and unleash your inner mermaid.

Personally, I'm partial to the shade “Call Me On My Shell Phone.”

The palette costs $36, but $1 of each purchase goes to the Marine Mammal Center, which gives medical care to seals, sea lions and other marine animals in Sausalito, CA.

The palette is available for pre-order at the KG Beauty's website. It will take a few weeks to arrive, but it will be there in time to make a big SPLASH at the pool this summer.

We may never be able to become real mermaid, but rocking pretty mermaid eyeshadow is as close as we can get.
