You Might Find A Super Cheap iPhone 7 At Apple's 1st Black Friday Sale In Years
Alright, guys, I'm not going to make any promises, but by the looks of it, you might be able to score a cheap iPhone 7 on Black Friday this year.
Apple's website has us convinced they've got some kind sale up their sleeve, but the company isn't giving too many clues away yet.
All they've displayed so far is a picture of an Apple Watch on their homepage with Friday's date in device's screen. Underneath, it reads "Save the date."
What does that mean, Apple?! We can't handle this kind of anticipation!
To tease us even more, they wrote a compelling note at the bottom right-hand corner of the page. It says,
Friday can't come soon enough. Our one-day shopping event will be here before you know it. Come back this Friday to check everyone off your list.
UM... IS IT FRIDAY, YET?
This doesn't happen often, so get pumped.
In fact, Apple hasn't had a sale on Black Friday that included their devices in years, Time reports.
Apparently, the company has bundled iTunes gift cards with store purchases for Black Friday "sales" throughout previous holidays.
However, Apple didn't offer any Black Friday sales at all last year.
Believe me, it was a bummer.
But after a ratchet 2016, maybe they wanted to treat us with a little surprise. I can confidently say we all need a pick-me-up right now.
According to Time, another potential reason behind Apple's Black Friday special is to increase their sales around the holidays.
It's been reported by CNBC Apple's revenue has been declining for three consecutive quarters, and iPhone shipments allegedly fell by 5 percent.
Even though there's no solid evidence iPhones and Apple Watches will be included in their advertised Black Friday sale, we can only hope the ad is pointing us in the right direction.
There's also no way of knowing whether the sale will be online or at Apple stores, but I guess we'll have to wait until Friday to find out.
