Mom Hilariously Freaks Out After Discovering Rap On Her Son’s Spotify Playlist

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to see a middle-aged mom discover her son likes the hippity-hop, look no further.

We now know thanks to one Twitter user who was kind enough to share this video of her mother discovering her eighth grade brother’s Spotify playlist.

The video has been retweeted over 25,000 time and the reason why is obvious. The clip is funny as hell.

Right out of the gate, the mom looks at her daughter, Liv, like she’s seen a ghost.

Her first words during the video? “I’m gonna cry.”

But the initial reaction is nothing compared to the level of disgust the mom reaches when she starts listening to Kanye West’s “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1,” you know, the song about sex with a model, bleaching and assholes.

Yeah, that’s not exactly the most family-friendly song in the world right now.

At one point, the mom is so much shock that she starts talking to her husband, as if to make sure she’s not crazy.

Do you listen to this, Michael? Like, listen to this music.

The most ironic and delicious part of the video, though, comes when the mother confronts her son for listening to music with all those ghastly words … by repeating all those ghastly words.

She told her son,

This type of music. This is affecting your brain. It’s freaking turning you into a psychotic person. Do you enjoy the disgusting shit they’re talking about — fucking, sex, sucking — and you think that’s fine and that’s funny?

Awwwkward.

Listen, we all dreaded this: the moment our moms become both nosy enough and savvy enough to discover what we’ve been searching on our computers.

Some of us escape our teen years without incident, though (thank God). Other, like this mom’s kid, are not so lucky.
