Snapchat's New Feature Will Let You Make Objects Different Colors, So Have Fun

by Brenda Santana

On Tuesday, July 18, your favorite app got much cooler as Snapchat released a Tint Brush feature.

According to Snapchat, the new Tint Brush feature will allow users to change the color of someone's hair, shirt, or any other object just by using the brush.

You can easily find the Tint Brush inside the Scissors tool. See a tutorial on how it's used below.

That was way simpler than I thought it would be?

All you have to do is select the Tint Brush, find the color you prefer, and draw around the item that you want to change. The item is magically changed into your desired color.

Also on Tuesday, Snapchat unveiled the Multi-Snap feature, which allows you to record up to 60 seconds of video, cut into 10-second snaps.

But unlike the Multi-Snap feature, the Tint Brush is available on both iOS and Android, so anyone can use it. Just make sure to update your Snapchat app and then get creative.

Snapchat's two new features are looking to give social media apps like Instagram and Facebook, a run for their money. After all, these two apps are infamous for taking ownership of Snapchat's ideas, so let's see how well they copy the Tint Brush.

But back to Snapchat. Think of all the things you can change, just by using the Tint brush. You can change:

  • The color of your hair.
  • The color of the sky.
  • The color of your dog.
  • The color of your bf/gf.

I can literally continue naming objects and people all day, but I think you get the point.

Your Snapchat game will become a force to be reckoned with by using Multi-Snap and the Tint Brush.

I can't wait to see how Kylie Jenner, and all of the other cool kids on the Snap, will use these new features.
