This mother’s touching Facebook post detailing her experience being stuck behind an elderly customer at Target, however, will make you rethink the way you treat others in these situations.
Mother Sarah Owen Bigler was at Target in Glendale, Indiana with her toddler last week, hoping to leave the store quickly. However, when she got to the checkout line, she found herself behind an elderly woman who insisted on paying for every item separately.
Bigler was annoyed until she realized how kindly the 19-year-old cashier, Ishmael, treated the old woman.
In a touching Facebook post, Bigler praises the employee’s patience and positive attitude and reveals she even went out of her way to notify the store’s manager of the teen’s incredible disposition.
