Badass Woman Turns Down Arranged Marriage When Guy Says It's Him Or Her Dog

Karishma Walia had THE MOST PERFECT response EVER to a guy who arrogantly necessitated that she abandon her dog for him.

She shared the conversation on Facebook with a thank you to her dog for helping her dodge a bullet: "How dogs save us from getting into trouble in every possible way."

She's originally from Bangalore, India, but is working in Gurgaon as an analyst. And like most young girls, she's looking for someone who's worth her time. So when a guy revealed he wasn't keen on dogs, she told him to get lost. POWER to her.

She put her cards on the table immediately after he asks for a reponse:

Dog is going to be an issue...So!

And despite the boy's suggestion that they find a solution, it didn't look like he was going to back down:

I don't want a dog to come in between my love life and not share the same bed.

What? Sounds like he's jealous of the dog.

And his reasoning isn't exactly that alluring:

My mom doesn't like dogs in general.

Walia seems like she couldn't give less of a shit:

So that's why I'm saying it won't work out!

And when her Prince Less-Than-Charming asks if dogs are just a phase, she responds,

Having a dog is definitely not a temporary phase. I can't abandon my dog for anyone.

You go, girl.

"My mom thought he's an excellent match because he's good-looking and well-off," Walia told BuzzFeed. "There was a lot of family pressure, and they still think I did the wrong thing by raising the concern about my dog."

But it looks like this guy is quite lame. Not least because he is worried about a dog sleeping in his marital bed.

Walia's screengrabs show that the guy kept harassing her:

Walia continued, "He would say things like 'family should be a priority and not a career.' I gave up when he commented about my dog. I don't know why my family still thinks he's an eligible bachelor."

Neither do we. What a loser.
