Cristiano Ronaldo has one of the most expensive hobbies in the world -- collecting sports cars.
The highlights of his fleet include: Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 ($318,000), Phantom Rolls-Royce ($400,000), Ferrari 599 GTO (also known as the Batmobile,$385,000), and a Bugatti Veyron ($1,700,000).
In total, Ronaldo has thrown down no less $5 million for his prized collection.
14. Kobe Bryant

Back in '07, Bryant and his wife Vanessa visited the City of Sin for the grand opening of the BLUSH Boutique Nightclub in the Wynn Hotel.
Also at the prestigious event was poker pro Antonio Esfandiari, who copped 2 bottles of Cristal -- at a sickening $1,400 a pop!
Bryant immediately ordered another five bottles at same price!
Upping the ante, Esfandiari followed suit and upped his order to 10 bottles!
At this point you'd think that Kobe would walk away...which he did...but not before upping his order to 15 bottles!
Kobe then left the club without even taking one sip of the 21,000 worth of champagne he had ordered.
13. Mike Tyson

If you aren't entirely aware of Mike Tyson's bankruptcy situation...let me just say that the decision to buy a trio of Bengal tigers, and keep them as pets, is one of his better investments.
According to bankruptcy reports in 2003, Tyson purchased the three tigers for $140,000!
Also revealed was the monthly cost of caring for them: $4,000 per tiger.
So basically... $140,000 down...and $144,000 a year!
12. Jack Clark

Much of Jack Clark's debt came from automobile purchases or investments in automobile business ventures gone bad.
Clark owned 17 cars, all of which cost at least $100,000, and most of which he still owed money on.
The 1990 Ferrari F40 that he copped for $717,000, the year before filing for bankruptcy, is approximately 7x worse financial decision than the rest of his cars.
11. Chad Johnson

For his 32nd birthday (2011) Chad Johnson bought himself a beastly vehicle.
Though he didn't reveal the price, it set him back no less than $100,000...plus whatever additional cost came with customization.
Hopefully this truck retains more of its value than normal sized automobiles.
Johnson is definitely going to need some cash back to pay child support in a few years!
10. Latrell Sprewell

Sprewell was forced into early retirement in '05, after turning down a lucrative contract extension on the grounds that it wasn't enough to feed his family.
With more time to party...Sprewell copped a $1.5 million Italian yacht, hilariously named "Milwaukee's Best."
The yacht was eventually grounded and repossessed by Federal Marshals after he was unable to make the payments.
It sold at auction for $856,000 — leaving Sprewell with a $295,138 balance due.

Allen Iverson has earned over $200 million over the course of his career in the NBA, but today he is broke as f*ck!
Iverson has been out of the league for a couple years now, but he's still spending like an NBA player!
Despite his monthly income only being $60,000, Iverson maintains monthly expenses of over $350,000.
The craziest thing about Iverson's situation is that, despite being on the brink of financial ruin, the baller still finds time to go jewelry shopping.
His salary is currently being garnished to pay off old debts to his jeweler!

Holyfield’s biggest financial mistake (besides fathering 11 kids) was the purchase of a 235-acre estate in Fayette County, GA for $14 million.
The 54,000-square-foot mansion boasted 109 rooms and was situated on a massive farm.
Holyfield was kicked off the property in 2012 and the mansion was sold at an auction for just $7.5 million.

Scottie's most questionable move was purchasing a $4.3 million Gulfstream jet back in 2002.
The decision to make such a purchase doesn't seem like something the average person would make on a whim.
Unfortunately, the jet needed $1 million worth of repairs upon purchase and could not, in fact, fly.

Curry has had his hard earned money garnished on several occasions to pay off bad debts.
His expenses became public domain in 2010 when he claimed he was no longer able to afford loan payments...a claim that a NYC judge wasn't having any of.

This might be one of the best examples of poor spending on this list!
Back in '07, Vince had to travel from Houston to Nashville, and decided he wanted to do so alone.
Instead of chartering a private Jet, Vince purchased 120 of 130 tickets on a Southwest Airlines flight-- all in the name of some peace and quiet.
Sure, Southwest is a pretty inexpensive airline. But even at the minimum price, there's no way it cost any less than $20,000.
2. Marquis Daniels

Marquis's costly necklace was created with a 3-D lasering image process.
The head is made from 1300 grams fo 14k gold, white and cognac diamonds. The cold dead eyes were created from porcelain and the dreads from black diamonds.
Though the price of this shruken head was never revealed, the market price for the gold today is over $40,000!
We estimate its total value to be around $60,000...
Something tells me this won't sell very easily during the bankruptcy auction.

Tyson bought his ex-wife Robin Givens a $2 million tub...on the same birthday he threw her a $410,000 party.
