6-foot-4, 400 pounds would sound like the ideal size of any offensive lineman in the NFL. But at White Swan High School in Washington, that’s just their team’s running back.
Tony Picard aka “Big Tone” is a nightmare for high school kids all over the state as his coach’s completely unorthodox way of establishing a run game is just as effective as you think it would be.
Is it a little unfair for kids lining up against him? Sure. But is it awesome to watch? You bet your ass. While he’s no speed burner, it takes more than a couple of hits to bring down this goal line bruiser back.
Tony is pretty athletic for a kid his size and should be an easy blue chip recruit in the college level. If he keeps improving that footwork which not a lot of offensive linemen have the opportunity of doing, he can easily become a valued draft pick in the NFL one day.
