University of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron is one of the most polished young athletes heading into the 2014 NFL Draft.

The three-time BCS National Champion has accomplished everything you could want at the collegiate level, besides a Heisman (damn you, Jameis Winston!), but a recent feature on 23-year-old will prove that he’s more than just another star athlete.

While people might get caught up with the fact that he’s dating the beautiful Katherine Webb or hangs out with Waka Flocka, AJ proved that he has a heart of gold by not only befriending fellow Alabama student AJ Starr, but making him a part of the Crimson Tide family and football team.

Starr developed cerebral palsy before he was even born when his umbilical cord got wrapped around his neck. Still, that didn’t stop him from following his dreams and getting his education at one of the most prestigious universities in the state.

Routinely watching the school’s football practice through the cracks of the gates, he caught McCarron’s attention after one practice and offered Starr a ride home when it started raining.

The two developed an amazing friendship which even prompted McCarron to contact the director of football operation at Alabama and find a position for Starr to work with the team.

AJ Starr and AJ McCarron now hit the field every day together as a once distant fan became a part of that strong Crimson Tide tradition… with a little help from their star player of course.

Newspaper Inappropriately Photoshops Image Of Boston Bombing Victim As A Gaza Victim

This crazy story definitely requires a little context. Recently, Mike Carlton, a journalist who worked for the Sydney Morning Herald, quit due to comments he made and emails he sent to readers in regards to the Israel-Palestine conflict. Carlton wrote a piece about the conflict that was accompanied by this fairly anti-Semitic cartoon: Naturally, the article and the […]
