Two years ago, Cam Newton left Auburn to become the first overall pick in the NFL draft. Now Newton has returned to become a college graduate.

Newton is enrolled at Auburn for spring semester and is working on a sociology degree.

Auburn spokesman Kirk Sampson confirmed to the Associated Press that Newton is currently enrolled as a student, but he said Newton isn’t giving media interviews and just “wants to focus on school and be a normal student.”

After beginning his college career at Florida as Tim Tebow’s backup in 2007 and 2008, Newton transferred to Blinn College for one year and then transferred to Auburn, where he won the national championship and the Heisman Trophy in his one season as an NCAA starter.

When one door closes, another opens. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. Despite that being what I’ve learned about life opportunities, I’m having trouble looking on the bright side of Russell Westbrook’s newly broken hand. When a particularly tricky brand of broken foot put Kevin Durant out of commission a few weeks ago, a […]

25 Packaging Fails That Got The Marketing Team Fired That Same Day (Photos)

We’ve all come across a misspelled storefront sign or a mislabeled package at one point or another. There’s no doubt that these particular sightings are hilarious, but the thought does cross our minds about how someone could let these packages be distributed everywhere from supermarkets to toy stores. Sometimes it’s a translation issue, and other […]
