People Are Even More Mad At Kaepernick Over The Pig Socks He Wore To Practice

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is still very much dominating the headlines after his decision to remain seated during the playing of the national anthem before the Niners' game last Friday.

Kaepernick eloquently explained his decision not to stand for the playing of "The Star-Spangled Banner," saying,

I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. … There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.

He continued,

I'll continue to sit. I'm going to continue to stand with the people that are being oppressed. To me, this is something that has to change, and when there's significant change, and I feel like that flag represents what it's supposed to represent, and this country is representing people the way its supposed to, I'll stand.

Kaepernick has essentially divided the country in half with his protest, with servicemen and women, NFL execs, media personnel and fans all weighing in on the controversy.

Now, though, Kaepernick's detractors are even more outraged following news of the quarterback's decision to wear socks depicting police officers as pigs.

According to reports, Colin Kaepernick wore these pig-cop socks to 49ers practice on August 10, but they're only now making the internet rounds.

Obviously, some of the folks who have supported the 28-year-old QB all along are remaining in his corner.

However, it appears Colin Kaepernick has lost more supporters than he's won with this latest revelation.
