It’s funny how things work out for some people; Kaepernick wrote this letter to himself in 4th grade, and he got it pretty spot on.  The only real glaring thing he got wrong is his weight; 6’4″ 190 lbs would be a straight bean pole.

His desire to play for the 49ers or Packers was pretty pure, saying that he would play for them even if they weren’t very good.

Little did his 4th grade self know that both teams would be absolutely stacked by the time he got to the NFL.

“I’m 5 ft 2 inches 91 pounds. Good athlete. I think in 7 years I will be between 6 ft- to 6 ft 4 inches 190 pounds. I hope I go to a good college in football then go to the pros and play on the niners or the packers even if they aren’t good in seven years. My friends are Jason, Kyler, Leo, Spencer, Mark and Jacob. Sincerly Colin”

How The Clippers Will Inevitably Suffer If Sterling Remains As Owner

Yesterday, Chris Paul and Doc Rivers discussed boycotting the NBA until Donald Sterling is no longer the official owner of the Clippers. Although Sterling’s wife, Rochelle, sold the team to Microsoft honcho Steve Ballmer for a record-obliterating $2 billion, Donald Sterling has since launched anti-trust lawsuits against the league, delaying the official sale. Sterling has […]

This College Application From 1922 Shows The Process Has Always Been Crazy (Photo)

If you thought the college application process was absurd now, check out this college application from 1922, which asks questions like “Is your health good?” and if you’d like to study “domestic science,” whatever that means. This single-paged, no-essay application, albeit with slightly invasive questions, makes me wish I could go back in time and study at Elon. […]

Awesome Drummer Plays Blink-182′s Entire Discography In Only 5 Minutes (Video)

In a heavy dose of nostalgia, YouTube user Kye Smith took all of Blink-182′s albums, from 1995′s Cheshire Cat to 2011′s Neighbourhoods, and created a video compilation of every song played on the drums. “Blink-182: A 5 Minute Drum Chronology” looks like it was filmed in the corner of this guy’s bedroom, where the walls are adorned with awesome, brightly-colored […]

The Truth Is, We Are Exactly Like Our Parents And That’s Not A Bad Thing

Anyone who knows me super well knows that I am, without a doubt, a mama’s boy and I’ll be the first one to admit it. Growing up, the words “Mom” and “Dad” had several different meanings for me. They meant gourmet chef, chauffeur, maid, doctor, counselor, sports fan, disciplinarian, coach and people who nag me (to […]
