It’s funny how things work out for some people; Kaepernick wrote this letter to himself in 4th grade, and he got it pretty spot on.  The only real glaring thing he got wrong is his weight; 6’4″ 190 lbs would be a straight bean pole.

His desire to play for the 49ers or Packers was pretty pure, saying that he would play for them even if they weren’t very good.

Little did his 4th grade self know that both teams would be absolutely stacked by the time he got to the NFL.

“I’m 5 ft 2 inches 91 pounds. Good athlete. I think in 7 years I will be between 6 ft- to 6 ft 4 inches 190 pounds. I hope I go to a good college in football then go to the pros and play on the niners or the packers even if they aren’t good in seven years. My friends are Jason, Kyler, Leo, Spencer, Mark and Jacob. Sincerly Colin”

His lifetime of travels has given him a broad scope of knowledge and an eclectic taste unlike any other in the tri-state area. Julian has often been compared to cultural icon, The Rock, because of his unequivocal work ethic and warrior-like stature.

A Healthy Derrick Rose’s Bulls Are Better Than LeBron James’ Cavs

This time, we should know better. If there’s one thing sports has consistently taught us over the years, it’s that super teams do not work like magic. Recent history speaks for itself. Gary Peyton and Karl Malone joining Shaq and Kobe didn’t hand the 2004 Lakers an NBA title. Acquiring an ungodly amount of talent, headlined by […]

Russell Westbrook’s Broken Hand Will Certainly Not Help OKC’s Season

When one door closes, another opens. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. Despite that being what I’ve learned about life opportunities, I’m having trouble looking on the bright side of Russell Westbrook’s newly broken hand. When a particularly tricky brand of broken foot put Kevin Durant out of commission a few weeks ago, a […]

Chipotle Is Making Lunch Breaks Even Better By Opening Another Pizzeria

Everyone with tastebuds knows pizza is pretty much the best thing to ever happen to mankind. Chipotle’s execs, at least, seem to realize how much people love pizza. Yesterday, the burrito chain opened its second pizza shop in Denver. The company’s first pizzeria opened its doors last December in the Mile High City, and (unsurprisingly) the […]

Racial Profiling Experiment Shows How Cops Treat People Differently (Video)

When YouTubers Adam Saleh and Sheikh Akbar began filming their latest video in their “cultural clothing,” they noticed police were nearly always close by. So, the pair filmed something of a social experiment. Dressed in Western clothing, they argued in front of a police officer, who didn’t react. But, when one wore a headscarf and robe, […]

Walmart Pisses Everyone Off By Selling ‘Fat Girls’ Halloween Costumes

We’re strong believers in promoting a positive body image. Beauty, after all, comes in all different shapes and sizes. So in celebrating individual bodies, humans with any appropriate social skills tend to shy away from using hurtful terms like “fat” because they don’t promote a positive outlook on appearance. Walmart apparently never got the memo that “fat” […]
